It all began with not wanting to spend the rest of our lives sitting in the recliner. Travel is something we have never had the opportunity to do so we decided that now was the time.
We purchased a used Montana, 36 foot, 5th wheel camper. Ok, now what to tow it with? Not many options out there that Mark cared for so that took longer than it did to find our "new" home. After many sleepless hours glued to the internet a used, one ton, Ford dually was found in Iowa. So off we went to pick up our next investment.
Traveling home with the truck was not a nice adventure to me. I, not liking bridges at all was forced to stop on the middle of one for an accident up ahead. Could any of you hear me screaming to get off?? I was a wreck and Mark, up ahead, could see, through the rearview mirror, that I was fit to be tied. LOL Thankfully the rest of the way was uneventful.
We now have the trailer and the truck. But we need to get a new hitch put on the trailer to fit the 5th wheel gooseneck already in the box of the truck. Again Mark went to work on solving that little issue. Ted's RV in Paynesville attached the new hitch, that Mark bought, to our trailer before we picked it up from the dealership. They were wonderful people to do business with and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trailer or any kind of service.
On June 18, 2016, we hooked up the camper to the truck and headed home. Stopping at our building was so hard to do. We just wanted to keep on rolling. :)
